On March 1 and 2, 2019, the Applied Social Sciences Forum held the third training workshop for psychologists and sociologists from the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the Ministry of Women, Family and Children’s Affairs under the title: “Offering social and institutional care for children from extremist or violent extremist environments.”

The workshop was dedicated to exploring ways of intervention for young people and children who are especially vulnerable to extremist or violent extremist environments, with a focus on the situation of the children in Regueb School. The working groups focused on the good and bad practices in dealing with this category through portraying live experiences of specialists from the above-mentioned ministries.

The second day of the workshop was an opportunity to involve specialists in digital prevention and social and economic reintegration.  The Tunisian League for Citizenship presented the works of its listening teams. The workshop also advanced the activities of TunisiaPlus Association in promoting economic reintegration as part of the Second Chance program. In the same context, it exposed the methods of digital prevention (serious game) by presenting the application “Fakebook”.
