At the initiative of the Center for Global Security Studies and the National Organization for Education and the Family, a seminar on security, development and education was organized in Tunisia. The organization of this meeting came on the background of alarming data published by the Ministry of the Interior and related to the occurrence of 2,700 cases of violence and robberies in educational institutions. The meeting concluded with the need to consider the relationship between the security and defense budget and the budget of the Ministry of Education in a context characterized by financial pressure and parents’ mounting fear of violence

In conclusion, the participants called for the launch of a community dialogue on a developmental vision for education in the context of immune vision and citizens devoted to the security apparatus.
