The Ministry of Social Affairs and Tunisia+ Association signed a partnership and cooperation agreement on the social inclusion of marginalized youth on Thursday September 06 2018, at the headquarters of the General Directorate for Social Promotion. The agreement was signed by Mr. Mohamed Ben Yosha, Director General of the General Directorate for Social Promotion on behalf of Mr. Mohamed Trabelsi, Minister of Social Affairs, and Mr. Chokri Elfidha, President of Tunisia+ Association. The agreement, which is part of the implementation of programs, joint projects and effective partnerships between the government and civil society, aims to provide training for a group of 20 to 30 children and young people from social defense centers and to support participatory activities that seek to promote society’s interests.

Under this agreement, the Ministry of Social Affairs has committed itself to support the activities planned by the association and that target children and young people from defense and social integration centers. It will also support the association in the implementation of the proposed programs and other activities of common interest. Tunisia Plus will also coordinate with the Ministry and its institutions to present the outputs of their prevention programs. Henceforth, to ensure benefits and to establish bridges of cooperation and consultation and dialogue in the field of training and participation for the benefit of staff  working in the centers of defense and social inclusion, so that  to spread the interest and provide them with the pillars of learning.
