Award of the best PhD thesis in Sociology 2017/2018

The Applied Social Sciences Forum announces the opening of the candidacy for the best PhD thesis in social sciences (2017-2018)

Conditions of candidacy

– The thesis should be presented for the first time in a competition and should not have participated in another competition
– The subject should be related to the reality of the Arab region or its immediate surroundings.
– The thesis should not have been previously published in full and should have been discussed during the last three years of the session
– Be relevant to the development of policies and development applications in the region.
– To be an editor in one of the following languages: Arabic, English or French

The award consists of a small grant that enables the researcher to review his final text and improve and amend it in accordance with the recommendations of the Scientific Committee for discussion, with the forum to bear the cost of printing and distribution.
The Applied Social Sciences Forum prints the text through a direct contract with an Arab publishing house that undertakes to distribute it as widely as possible. Theses are presented in electronic format in Word or PDF format. The file must include a doctorate and a curriculum vitae
